Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in a form, call us, email us, or sign up for something on this site, we collect the information you choose to provide. That typically includes your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, and the site that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you have asked about
- To deliver, maintain and support services you have engaged us for
- To send you information about your project, account or service
- To send marketing communications, where you have agreed to receive them
- To improve this website and understand how it is used
- To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations
Text messaging and mobile information
If you provide your mobile telephone number and give your express consent, SpeedyTech Digital may send you text (SMS) messages relating to your enquiry, your project, appointment reminders, and — where you have separately agreed to it — promotional information about our services.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us on (586) 300-2451.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Companies that help us operate our business — such as hosting providers, email and CRM platforms, analytics providers and payment processors — who process information on our behalf and are bound to protect it.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority.
- Business transfers. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
As stated above, mobile opt-in data and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies to function and to help us understand how visitors use it. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and behaviour in aggregate. We may also use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised session information including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and page interactions, to help us identify usability problems. These tools do not capture the contents of password fields, and we do not use them to identify you personally.
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of this site work.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or anonymise it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to opt out of marketing communications. To make a request, contact us using the details at the top of this policy. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites, including those we have built for clients. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
